From Intern to Coach, a Transformative Journey

As someone who transitioned from being a program intern to a coach at Girls on the Run, I can wholeheartedly testify to the transformative power of this experience. My journey with Girls on the Run began as an intern, where I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible impact the program has on young girls' lives. From the moment I stepped into the organization, I was inspired by the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of the coaches to empower and uplift every girl they encountered.

My time as an intern provided me with invaluable insights into the mission and values of Girls on the Run, as well as the opportunity to work closely with the amazing team behind the scenes. I witnessed the magic that happens when girls are given the space to discover their strength, resilience, and limitless potential through a supportive and inclusive environment.

Driven by my passion for empowering others and making a difference, I decided to take the leap and become a coach myself. And let me tell you, it has been one of the most rewarding decisions I've ever made. Coaching at Girls on the Run has not only allowed me to make a positive impact in the lives of young girls but has also been a source of personal growth, fulfillment, and joy.

Every week, I have the privilege of witnessing the transformational journey of my girls as they learn to set goals, build confidence, and embrace their unique strengths. From running laps to engaging in meaningful discussions about friendship, self-esteem, and healthy living, every moment spent with my team fills my heart with pride and gratitude.

As a coach, I have the opportunity to be a role model, mentor, and cheerleader for these girls, guiding them as they navigate life's challenges with courage, resilience, and grace. And in return, they inspire me with their authenticity, curiosity, and unwavering spirit.

So, if you're considering coaching at Girls on the Run, I urge you to take the leap and join this incredible movement of empowerment and positivity. Not only will you be making a difference in the lives of young girls, but you'll also be embarking on a journey of personal growth, connection, and fulfillment that will stay with you long after the season ends. Trust me, it's an experience you'll cherish forever.
